Huffington Post Article Featuring My Fashion and Beauty Photography

I am very proud to share a wonderful interview of me by Kimberly  E. Love kids fashion photography!

All my adult life I have been volunteering with children.  I have done literacy work in New York City elementary and high schools for 10 years, a volunteer for Catholic Big Brothers for 8 years, and have hosted 6 foreign exchange students through AFS, each for a full school year.

It goes without saying I love photographing kids.  Where it is not a large percentage of my work, I find it fun and gratifying.  The younger they are, the more difficult it is.  Try getting a cranky two year old to stand on a specific spot, facing forward, and smiling while the clothes look well styled!

I don’t share much of my children’s work, but here is a new collection from one of my NYC fashion clients.  We shot it this spring.  I am excited to hear it is already in 50 stores!

Beauty Photography in Wilhemina Model Portfolio

The ultimate compliment on my photography is when a major agency uses my images on their website for a model’s portfolio.  This states that my work captures some essence of the model that will sell them to their clients.

Lula Kenfe is as stunning model from Wilhelmina New York who I have had the pleasure of shooting beauty with.  Angela Ivana from Agency Gerard did the hair and makeup.  We are quite pleased with the results, apparently the agency is as well!

A recent shoot with model Lini Kennedy from Next Model Management, New York.  The team consisted of makeup artist Margina Dennis and hair stylist Monae Everett.  The photo shoot features lingerie by Gem Pickett.

Behind the Scenes at a Fall/Winter Catalog Photoshoot

Last week I worked with client Label and Thread shooting their F/W ’16 catalog.  They design beautiful sweaters.  This is my third time shooting for them.  It is always a fun, productive day.  Makeup artist and hair stylist Andrea Wilson with Next Artist Management is not only an incredible talent but she brings a great energy onto set. Our stunning model was Sofia Reynal from Wilhelmina New York.

Denim Catalog Photoshoot

Last week had a fun day shooting photographs for a denim/jeans catalog for client Driftwood.  The models Vanessa Jorge and Mikeala Blumberg from Major Model Management NYC are both beautiful and a pleasure to work with!

Hair and makeup were provided by the talented Ellen Guhin.

Beauty Photography Featured on the Mola SoftLights Blog

My go to modifier for beauty and portrait photography is the Mola Demi.  I have been shooting with this beauty dish for years.  The Mola beauty dish gives me a beautiful quality of light, hard yet soft with a lovely fall off that creates lovely contours to accentuate shape and facial bone structure.

I am thrilled to have the good people at Mola SoftLights feature my work on their blog.  Their beauty dishes are an industry standard that is used by the best photographers in the business.  It is an honor to have them showcase my work!

Men’s Fall 2016 Fashion Campaign

Very excited about the revamp of my client Member’s Only Fall 16 collection.  I had the opportunity to shoot the campaign and catalog earlier this year.  The iconic brand is updating the look into a fashion forward collection under the creative stewardship of Gene Uy.  Keeping and building on the original legacy collection, changing lengths, silhouettes, fabrics and details gives the collection a contemporary cutting edge look while remaining true to the brand history!

The model was Quinn of Request Models, New York. Grooming was provided by Hiro Yonemoto.

Fashion Campaign Shot in the Hamptons

Late August headed east with a crew to shoot the fall winter campaign for client Lee Anderson Couture. The location was her beautiful summer home.  We had an amazing time making these fun images.  Our model, the beautiful Hartje Andresen from Trump Models brought the collection and images to life.  Hair and makeup by the talented Vanessa Weiss.

Lee Anderson Fall 15 Fashion Campaign

Very excited that my client Lee Anderson has posted the images we shot for her Fall 2015 collection.  We shot the job at her beautiful home in West Hampton.  We had an incredible day.  Hartje Andresen from Trump Model Mangement, NYC looked stunning in Lee’s designs.  Vanessa Weiss did a fab job with hair and makeup.

This afternoon I will be on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.  I am going to pop by her store on Lexington Avenue store and see if she has printed a poster yet.  I love seeing my photography printed BIG!!!
