Behind the Scenes Video From a Recent Fashion Photoshoot

I had an incredible shoot with model Honglin with Major Model Management. She is a striking beauty with adorable blond bangs! Makeup artist and hair stylist Veronika Robova had the enviable job of making her more beautiful.

My assistant VC Dong brought her camera and shot some behind the scenes video that was perfectly edited by Yuan Tang.

Boyfriend Denim Fashion Photography NYC Studio

Love this boyfriend themed shoot with model Gee Burridge with Major Model Management, New York. Was originally going to shoot outside but the weather was not cooperating. Decided to create a simple set using three muslin backdrops; one hanging to make a wall, a second for the floor, and a third to throw over props for the model to sit/lean on. Very happy how the shoot turned out. Gee is a great model and worked the clothing. It was tough to select final images. Hair stylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist Dmitry Potapov did a great job creating beauty looks that worked with the clothing and setup. I love the loose hair! When we had a break in the weather we shot a look outside as well. Below are some final selects from the shoot. New Beauty Fashion Photography Editorial With Gee Burridge, Major NYC

I am pleased to share a new beauty editorial for Lucire Magazine featuring fashion model Gee Burridge, Major Models, New York. Gee is a dream to work with. She is gorgeous and knows how to move. NAHA award winning hair stylist Cassie Carey created full, voluminous hair styles using Gee’s thick, natural hair. Makeup artist Dmitri Potapov complemented Gee’s beautiful features and perfect skin with natural, glam looks. The editorial was photographed at Blonde Studios, NYC. Had a great shoot with model Gabrielle Covers of Major Model Management, New York. Client is Dominique, creating luxury intimates for discerning clientele. Fashion stylist for the shoot was Brit Lovoi, hair, makeup and beauty by Veronika Robova. Had a great time photographing this job. The team was on point and the client was thrilled with the images.

Jewelry Ad Campaign – Beauty Photography

Last week I shot a jewelry campaign and catalog. The client cast the beautiful Michaela Vybohova now with Major Model Management, New York. I had worked with Michaela a few years ago for a shearling outwear client. Michaela told me that was one of her first jobs after arriving in NYC. The fun and talented Veronika Robova did an amazing job with hair and makeup!

Veronika is from the Czech Republic, Michaela hails from Slovakia, the reunion and relations between the two states went extremely well except for this minor skirmish with a Makita leaf blower.

The client needed a rush on the retouching and delivery of images in order to print banners for a trade show in Las Vegas he is attending; twenty-four hours later, here are some of the images I delivered. I can’t wait to see photos of the trade show booth (love seeing my photos printed large), catalog and print ads!

Photography for Iconic Outerwear Brand Member’s Only

Last week packed up my camera, strobes, stands, seamless background paper and headed to the garment center to shoot for outerwear lifestyle brand Member’s Only. After shooting the collection against seamless paper we set up outside for some additional environmental image shots. The showroom has a few balconies overlooking W. 40th St. with east and west views which scream Manhattan. I had a great day with models Gabrielle Covers from Major Model Management, New York, Todd Charles from Q Models NYC and my favorite Czech makeup artist/hair stylist Veronika Robova. Sidenote,the client styled the shoot with cool footwear from their friends at Jibs Life!

Magazine Cover and Editorial – Fashion Swimwear

I am proud to share the cover and editorial story I photographed for InWeston Magazine. The editor requested I produce a fashion swimwear editorial for their summer issue. Immediately I spoke to stylist Ikponmwosa Edorisiagbon who was excited to help out with the project. I was very pleased that model Vanessa Jorge from Major Model Management, New York was available to shoot. I have worked with Vanessa on commercial projects and was looking forward to shooting fun work with her. She is a stunning beauty and a lovely person. The team was complete with talented Emi Koizumi doing a beautiful job with hair and makeup.

The shoot was very easy and smooth. We shot in studio. Everyone was on point!

Denim Catalog Photoshoot

Last week had a fun day shooting photographs for a denim/jeans catalog for client Driftwood. The models Vanessa Jorge and Mikeala Blumberg from Major Model Management NYC are both beautiful and a pleasure to work with!

Hair and makeup were provided by the talented Ellen Guhin.

Back to School Sale?

Back to school? How can I think about Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic during Hazy, Hot and Humid August!

My image shot for client Member’s Only (iconic outerwear and fashion forward brand) announces a sale. Models are Carly Jade and Matthew Vande Vegte, both from Major Model Management NYC.

I am very excited to be shooting for them next Monday and Tuesday. Primarily a studio, but some location as well. I will post some behind the scenes shots.
