I just had a beauty editorial and cover published in Lucire Magazine. The shoot was hair and skin inspired featuring our gorgeous model Anna Van Patten of Women 360 Management, NYC. We photographed the editorial in one day at Blonde + Co Studio, New York. Hair stylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist Dmitri Potapov created beautiful looks. I am really pleased to share beauty images I photographed at Blonde & Co. Our gorgeous model is Kambree Dalton from agency One.1. The hair stylist is Cassie Carey, who was just awarded the prestigious “Newcomer of the Year” by NAHA (North American Hairstyling Awards). Makeup artist on this photo shoot is Deney Adam who is represented by Blonde Artists.

Wednesday evening. Just completed my third day shooting for the early fall McCall’s Pattern Company catalog; two more days to go! McCall’s creates patterns for home sewers to create their own clothing. The company has a deep, rich history dating back to 1870! I had the pleasure of working in their studio and touring their catalog archives. They have all of their past catalogs and is a real history of fashion and trends. A plethora of supermodels have graced the covers!
The amount of preparation and thought that goes into each shoot is really impressive. I am honored to be entrusted to help execute the team’s vision while adding my personal style to each shoot. The art direction, styling, model casting, makeup/hair and organization is always on point.
It is a thrill to receive the catalog after it is printed. I love doing photography for this client!

I am pleased to share images from a recent fashion shoot with model Lore Varga from model agency Marilyn New York.
The concept is a clean set using grey seamless paper rolled up exposing the photo studio’s cement floor giving a bit of an industrial feel. Fashion is denim driven using accessories and set design to tie in non-denim looks. Hair is loose and wind-blown, makeup is clean with strong elements. Lore’s look is very strong, beautiful face, thick, long hair, and a great figure. Her posing and movement is strong, she really knows how to work a look.

My go to modifier for beauty and portrait photography is the Mola Demi. I have been shooting with this beauty dish for years. The Mola beauty dish gives me a beautiful quality of light, hard yet soft with a lovely fall off that creates lovely contours to accentuate shape and facial bone structure.

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting an advertising campaign for jewelry designer Rush by Denis and Charles.
I worked with the amazing stylist Rod Novoa and makeup/hair Virna Smiraldi. The model was the beautiful Courtney Eriksson from Q Models NYC.
The team was a blast to work with. Super talented, fun, no drama. Courtney is incredible. She cannot take a bad photo and her smile is infectious!

Saturday night I had the honor to photograph “formal” portraits at the Montefiore Hospital Pediatric Prom. What an amazing event! The staff and volunteers went all out to make sure the prom was a smashing success, and it was! The kids looked amazing, the music was pumping, lots of smiles and laughter, and Bronx girls can dance!
It was such a joy to photograph the kids (and staff).
My assistant Aedn was pulled into the photo!
