Fashion and Beauty Photography In NYC – Recent Photoshoot

A couple of weeks ago I teamed up with hairstylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist JP Ramirez (represented by Blonde.Artists , a fabulous agency) to create some new work for our portfolios. We were working on a sexy boyfriend concept. For this shoot we cast model Emily Van Raay with Women360 Management, New York. I styled the shoot using button downs and sports coat from my closet. Emily supplied the lingerie since I don’t have any in my wardrobe.

The photographs we created exceeded our expectations. The main problem was selecting which images to use! The finishing touches in post production were executed by the fabulous retoucher Albina Annen who shares our vision of enhancing the natural beauty without going overboard.

Campaign for Jewelry Atelier – Fashion Photographer NYC

Earlier this fall I had the pleasure of photographing a campaign for jewelry designer Monte Neri. Classic gold and gemstones. It is a really elegant collection. The concept was fairly simple, get some gorgeous models, drape them in Monte Neri, and create the magic!

Models we cast are Anzhela from W/360 and Nianga from Official Model Management.We shot in my New York City studio against a simple beige backdrop. The richness complimented the glowing skin created by collaborator Veronika Robova, hair stylist and makeup artist.

Beauty Photography

Last week I got together in my studio with NAHA winning hair stylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist Dmitry Potapov to shoot a beauty test with model Gabriella Wilkens from Women 360 Management. Gabriella has soft, delicate features and long, beautiful, curly, natural hair. We focused on clean makeup and shaping the model’s hair. After we were finished in the studio we went out to the roof for some additional images. We are super pleased with the results. Gabriella’s agency thinks the images are stunning!

Fashion photography in NYC is opening up!

I am pleased to report that my New York fashion clients are starting to shoot again.  My first shoot since lockdown was June 30 at my fur client’s warehouse.  It felt a bit weird returning to set but we all wore masks (except the model of course), did our best to social distance, the space was large and airy with good ventilation and fans to circulate the air.

So far all my work has been at client sites and location.  I have not worked in my studio yet but look forward to returning!

Beauty Fashion Editorial Featuring Model Anna Van Patten

I just had a beauty editorial and cover published in Lucire Magazine.  The shoot was hair and skin inspired featuring our gorgeous model Anna Van Patten of Women 360 Management, NYC.  We photographed the editorial in one day at Blonde + Co Studio, New York. Hair stylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist Dmitri Potapov created beautiful looks. Special thanks to Dylan Reese for postproduction!

Behind the Scenes, Beauty Photography, NYC

Had a great day shooting beauty with the stunning model Kenz with One Management, New York.  Some behind the scenes photos with makeup artist Dani Schacter and hair stylist Tomoko working their magic.  They had the tough job of making gorgeous Kenz gorgeous.
