I just had a beauty editorial and cover published in Lucire Magazine. The shoot was hair and skin inspired featuring our gorgeous model Anna Van Patten of Women 360 Management, NYC. We photographed the editorial in one day at Blonde + Co Studio, New York. Hair stylist Cassie Carey and makeup artist Dmitri Potapov created beautiful looks. Special thanks to Dylan Reese for postproduction!

New Fashion and Beauty Photography with One Model Management, New York
Last week I booked models Agnes Kudukis and Lauren Forge from One Management, NYC for a beauty/fashion shoot in NYC. The shoot was initiated at a meeting with makeup artist Amy Palmer. We both admire each others work and decided to shoot together. Amy pulled in fashion stylist and designer Jillian Papas and I brought hair stylist Tomoko Kuwamura to help create some magic.
We had a fun day shooting together and made some beautiful images. I shared retouched work with the team this morning. An hour later I checked the models’ online portfolios and found that our photos were already added to their books. The agency wasted no time!
Here are screenshots from the agency website!
When Photographer becomes Fashion Model, and Vice Versa!
For years I have worked regularly with sports and fitness, fashion, and lifestyle model Jam Murphy of Wilhelmina Models, New York. We have become friends as well. Jam is an incredible model with a beautiful, open spirit. Besides modeling Jam produces music and owns a very cool lipstick brand Ice + Jam. Ice and Jam formulates amazing products using replenishing ingredients with bold, fun colors to beautify and care for your lips. The company ethos emphasizes sustainability, health and personal empowerment. With colors such as “Thank You Come Again”, “Lesbehonest” and “Ouch, Ouch, You’re On My Hair!”…
Jam asked me to photograph her modeling her in their new “Empower Your Lips” tee. I was thrilled to say of course. She wanted to have some of her friends model as well, but due to scheduling only she was available. After Jam finished being photographed, in she tried to poach some male models from another shoot, but no luck. She asked the studio manager if he would model, but Kenny is shy. Jokingly I offered to model for her. Jam jumped right on that and the next thing I knew I was on set being styled and photographed by Jam.
Below are screenshots from the Ice + Jam website. The cotton tee is extremely soft, well priced, and a portion of proceeds are donated to Tostan.org
I may be no Jam, but I think I hold my own in this photo. If you need a short, older male model, feel free to reach out!
Take it to the Street
I love working in my new studio Located in Long Island City, just outside of Manhattan. It has a chill vibe, 4 great studios to shoot in, 2 with cyc walls. Another amazing draw is the gritty exterior with it’s industrial landscape.
On a beautiful October day stylist Andre Austin and I shot a quick test with a beautiful new face from New York Model Management, Sammy Gardner. The talented Jonet Williamson provided hair and makeup.
Andre pulled a lot of the looks from DSquared2 and mixed it in with fashion elements to give a cool vibe.
New Fashion Editorial
I am pleased to share a new fashion editorial I photographed that was just published in The Angle Magazine! Fashion stylist and creative director Uma and I drew inspiration from Mia Farrow’s character in the Roman Polansky thriller Rosemary’s Baby.
After meeting in Williamsburg, the crew all piled into my 1994 Honda CRV and braved the horrendous traffic on the Staten Island Expressway to eventually make it to our location in the heart of New Jersey.
The model is Elena Kantariia of One Model Management, makeup is Emi Koizumi, and hair is Isaac Davidson of Wigbar.

And Men Magazine fashion editorial
Some photographs from an editorial published in And Men magazine styled by Andre Austin. The model is Randy Lebeau, formerly of Fusion Model Management, NYC. I love the vibe we created in studio.
Another Photograph from the Fashion Editorial photographed at Bisazza Flagship Showroom, NYC
Here is another image from the recent fashion editorial shot at the Bisazza Flagship Showroom in New York City.
The showroom was an amazing place to shoot. Bisazza manufactures very high end glass tile. They create exquisite patterns with them. I recently found out they have a foundation at there headquarters in Italy outside of Venice. The foundation displays masterful pieces created by top designers that were created for various expositions.
I had a great time with the team making these images!
