Yesterday had the opportunity to shoot a Dillard’s in store display campaign for Vigoss Jeans. Worked with the lovely Michelle McHugh from APM Models. We shot in studio using a distressed club chair created by prop stylist Noah Sparke. Looking forward to sharing the final images!

The showroom was an amazing place to shoot. Bisazza manufactures very high end glass tile. They create exquisite patterns with them. I recently found out they have a foundation at there headquarters in Italy outside of Venice. The foundation displays masterful pieces created by top designers that were created for various expositions.
I had a great time with the team making these images!

I am very pleased to share images from a fashion editorial I shot in New York City for the Paris based magazine Prestige International. The lovely model is Lexa from the agency Muse NYC. The fashion stylist was Aaron R. Tucker, make up by Aeriel D’Andrea using M.A.C., and hair by Arturo Swayze. We shot the job in the old Bisazza Showroom in Soho, NY. Recently the showroom relocated to an amazing space on W. 20th St. overlooking the Highline. I am very pleased with the images. I will share one today and will continue to post them over the next week.
I was asked by Fusion NYC to shoot some clean beauty for two of their new faces, Izzy and Hazel. I asked the talented makeup artist and hair stylist Veronika Robova to help out.
We shot in my Brooklyn home in the guest bedroom.

Saturday night I had the honor to photograph “formal” portraits at the Montefiore Hospital Pediatric Prom. What an amazing event! The staff and volunteers went all out to make sure the prom was a smashing success, and it was! The kids looked amazing, the music was pumping, lots of smiles and laughter, and Bronx girls can dance!
It was such a joy to photograph the kids (and staff).
My assistant Aedn was pulled into the photo!

Over the weekend I shot a fashion editorial for Today’s Black Woman magazine. My dear friend Ionia Dunn Lee Cisse styled the models, Aeriel D’Andrea did makeup, and Tiffany Coates provided hair styling.
I can’t share the fashion images until after the photos publish in the August/September 2015 issue. However I had our girl from Red NYC stand by the window in her own clothes and shot a few images. Looking forward to sharing the editorial in a few months!
Our model wants to know, straight or natural? I am a sucker for natural hair!
Yesterday I had the pleasure to shoot for my client Vigoss, a women’s denim designer. We spent the day with APM New York beauties Michelle and Kayla photographing images for their e-commerce site and lifestyle images for their social media campaign. Here are some images of the girls straight out of camera… no retouching! Makeup and hair by Brian Dean.

Late last year I worked with Veronica Montano from Major Model Management, New York (winner of Top Model Latina). After shooting the catalog she put on a few looks and we shot natural light in front of a studio window in order to make some image shots. The client was quite happy… and so was the agency. The photo is the lead image on her online portfolio and on the front of her comp card! Hair and makeup by the talented Veronika Robova.
