New York contemporary knitwear brand Label and Thread hired me to shoot their Fall 15 collection. I am very excited to see our work live on their website. The line is stunning, beautifully designed using fine cotton and cashmere. Our model Britt Bergmeister of Next Model Management NYC is a pleasure to work with bringing a young, sophisticated edge to the images.
Blow Up!
Love seeing my work printed big!
Hosting and entertaining dear friends from Paris is an excellent excuse to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and visit some old friends The Temple of Dendur and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Living Room From the Litle House as well as make new friends George Caleb Bingham and the exquisite fashion collection China Through The Looking Glass (a must see!).
After getting kicked out of the museum at 5:05 we strolled down Fifth Ave, crossed over on 72 St to Lexington to visit the store of my client fashion designer Lee Anderson. I will be shooting for her next week and just received an email from her assistant. I figured I would answer it in person and introduce my French friends to some other wonderful people in my life.
We caught up on recent travel experiences, was educated on the current state of life in Greece, discussed the shoot, and admired her collection. I had Lee’s talented daughter Kyra snap a photo of me in front of an image I shot last season that was printed as a poster. Of course I had to show up model Sanita Andersone (Q New York) and out pose her!
Fresh Men’s Fashion Editorial – And Men Summer Issue
Published just in time for the inaugural New York Men’s Fashion Week!
Had a great time photographing male model Charlie Himmelstein from Request NY shooting this fun summer fashion editorial for And Men Magazine. Turns out Charlie grew up in my Brooklyn neighborhood. His personality comes through in the images.
Fashion stylist Andre Austin brought a cool selection of looks. Charlie was groomed by makeup artist and hair stylist Jackie Sanchez.

Fur Catalog – Keeping a Season Ahead
Nothing like shooting fur in the summer. It was a 90 degree day and the lovely Melisa Dobric of Next Model Management, New York tested the studio’s a/c wearing furs and cashmere by Madison Avenue Mall. Had a fun day shooting! Hair and makeup by Veronika Robova.
Children’s Fashion Photography
I love kids. For most of my adult life I have done volunteer work with them: literacy training, big brother, hosting foreign exchange students through AFS, and currently New York chapter director for Flashes of Hope.
Most of my commercial work is womenswear. It is always a treat to shoot kids’ fashion!
My client Chach Beach produces a wonderful women’s and girl’s collection of beachwear. I love working with them, especially with the girls! I love the canary yellow backdrop!
Here I am posing with the model’s for the last shot of the day!
Product Campaign for Women’s Jeans Client
I had a great time shooting a product campaign for one of my favorite clients; denim designer Vigoss Jeans.
I sourced a distressed club chair via prop stylist extraordinaire Noah Sparks. The perfect body to fit the jeans is
Current Email Marketing Promotion
Just sent an email campaign out to my contact list using an image I shot for jewelry designer Rush by Denis and Charles. I love the huge smile that model Courtney Erikson (Q Models NYC) is giving! Special thanks to stylist Rod Novoa and makeup artist/hair stylist Virna Smiraldi for the “difficult” task of making the beautiful Courtney more beautiful!
I just looked at Courtney’s online portfolio. To my pleasant surprise the agency is using 3 of our photos as the lead images on her page!
And Men Magazine fashion editorial
Some photographs from an editorial published in And Men magazine styled by Andre Austin. The model is Randy Lebeau, formerly of Fusion Model Management, NYC. I love the vibe we created in studio.
Beauty photography
Recently shot a beauty test with makeup artist Wendi Miyake and hair stylist Kota. We had a great time working with the beautiful Aussie fashion model Stacey Louise Grant from Women 360, New York. We shot 3 looks with her and I am very pleased with the results!
Jewlery Photo Shoot
Last week I had the pleasure of shooting an advertising campaign for jewelry designer Rush by Denis and Charles.
I worked with the amazing stylist Rod Novoa and makeup/hair Virna Smiraldi. The model was the beautiful Courtney Eriksson from Q Models NYC.
The team was a blast to work with. Super talented, fun, no drama. Courtney is incredible. She cannot take a bad photo and her smile is infectious!
Here are a couple of random images from the shoot! Please note these are not retouched and not the final selects, just a few I like and pulled out to post.
